We love to break down barriers. Our aim for more than a decade has been to help schools overcome barriers real and imagined through targeted technology innovations like our Teach Primary Awards Shortlisted 2012 app and dashboard 'Blippit® Boards'.
Backed by 25 years of experience working in and with hundreds of schools in a teaching and advisory capacity, based in the North West of England, we are so proud to be helping educators far and wide. We partner with expert organisations because we don't have all the answers but collaboration is what's needed now more than ever to offer thought-through tools to schools.
We partner with Headteachers and collaborate with organisations to improve our product most recently including Christian Aid.
Specialist Targeted Therapeutic Support for Children and Young People
Cardiff Speech and Language Therapy are here to offer your school independent speech, language and communication assessment, therapy and consultancy.
More and more schools are choosing to use independent services to top up current services offered by the NHS or LEA or to fill the ever widening gap in pupils abilities.
We have the flexibility to tailor all programmes to your schools individual needs and budgets.
We work with nursery, primary and secondary schools to deliver therapy, assess students abilities, support staff with interventions and provide bespoke training.
A few of the areas we are able to cover are:
- Autism
Dragon Academy delivers after-school football clubs and in-curriculum PE football support for primary schools across South Wales. Sessions are led by UEFA B licensed coaches and are split into three age-appropriate pathways: Mini Dragons (ages 2–4), Junior Dragons (ages 5–7) and Advanced Dragons (ages 8–13).
We work with schools on after-school clubs, lunchtime sessions and curriculum PE support. Every hour follows the same four-part structure: ball at their feet within 30 seconds of walking in, a clear weekly theme explained in language they understand, progressive coaching with individual correction, then small-sided games so the skill actually shows up. No standing around. No wasted minutes.
Age groups
Mini Dragons (2–4): their first proper football hour. Structured enough to build real coordination, playful enough that they never notice they are learning.
Junior Dragons (5–7): dribbling, passing and decision-making taught properly, then tested in games they actually want to win.
Advanced Dragons (8–13): technical detail, game understanding and a competitive standard for players who want to get better.
Where we already work
Weekly community academy, one night a week, indoor sports halls term-time so wet Welsh winters never cancel:
Mondays — Rhondda Cynon Taf, Rhondda Sports Centre, CF41 7SY. Mini 5pm, Junior and Advanced 6pm.
Tuesdays — Bridgend, CCYD School, CF32 9EG. Mini and Junior 5pm, Advanced 6pm.
Wednesdays — Neath Port Talbot, Ysgol Bae Baglan, SA12 7BL. Mini and Junior 5pm, Advanced 6pm.
We also run the Dragon Trophy Series (six matchdays a year: Summer, Halloween, Christmas, New Year, Easter, Champions) and birthday football parties for schools and families.

Elaina, a former primary school teacher, is an author, illustrator, and a trustee of the Robert Stephenson Trust. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Elaina uses her extensive experience working with children and her sense of fun to create stories that capture young children's imagination and take them on an adventure. Her three daughters are the main characters for three of her book series, 'Amelia and her Time Travelling Trainers', 'Imogen the Dinosaur Whisperer' and 'Violet and the Magic Vault'.
Science and Engineering - 'Amelia and her Time Travelling Trainer's: Take a Trip with George and Robert Stephenson' is all about the success of the 'Rocket' locomotive at the Rainhill Trials in 1829. Children will learn about how steam engines work, and why 'Rocket' had the best design. 'Amelia and her Time Travelling Trainers: Take a Trip to See Robert Stephenson' has been written to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Stockton and Darlington Railway, the first passenger railway to use steam trains to transport passengers. Children can learn all about 'Locomotion' and why it was such an important invention.
Animals and flowers (including minibeasts and nocturnal animals) - Current titles include 'Little Ladybird and the Perilous Picnic', 'Tired Little Bat' and 'Little Robin and the delicious Gingerbread'. 'Little Lost Mole' (2nd. ed.) will be released in 2026 and 'Little Bee, Lost in Laundry' will be released in 2027.
Dinosaurs - 'Imogen the Dinosaur Whisperer: Triceratops Trouble', released in May 2024, is inspired by her middle daughter and was shortlisted for the BBC Ignite Programme in 2021 and made it to the 4th and final round of the Best Indie Book Awards in 2024. Imogen has a special gift, she can talk to dinosaurs! With Spot the Gecko by her side, Imogen keeps the dinosaurs safe and out of trouble. The second instalment 'Imogen the Dinosaur Whisperer: Ankylosaur Antics' is due to be released in 2026.
Magical Stories - 'Violet and the Magic Vault' involves a vault of dressing up clothes only Violet (and Fluffily the guinea pig) can see. The vault presents them with an unfinished costume and sends them on an adventure to find the missing piece. 'Violet and the Magic Vault: A Mermaid Adventure' is currently available, while new instalments are due for release in 2026/2027 and include 'A Pirate Adventure' and 'A Broomstick Adventure'.
Also available is 'The Workshop Elves and the Missing Baubles' a magical festive story which is very popular due to the antics of the mischievous Christmas baubles.
Elaina visits libraries for book readings and craft events, schools for author days, which include lessons in character description and scene setting, and events in collaboration with Grasmere GingerbreadⓇ and Hopetown Darlington.
Goodysphere Sensory Bus provides a fully mobile, professionally delivered sensory environment designed to support inclusion, emotional regulation and wellbeing within educational settings.
Housed within a converted vehicle, the Sensory Bus brings a calm, low-arousal space directly to schools, enabling pupils who experience sensory overwhelm, anxiety, autism, ADHD or additional needs to access a safe and supportive environment without leaving the school site. Sessions are flexible and can be used as part of SEND provision, wellbeing support, inclusion strategies, transition support or enrichment days.
The space has been thoughtfully designed to support sensory regulation and nervous system calming. Equipment includes controlled lighting, visual and tactile resources, soft flooring, a sensory swing and interactive elements that support vestibular and proprioceptive input. The environment can be adapted to meet individual needs, group sessions or quiet one-to-one use.
Goodysphere is rooted in lived experience and professional understanding of SEND and inclusion. Delivery is calm, respectful and child-led, with a strong focus on dignity, safety and emotional regulation rather than overstimulation. The service supports pupils across a wide age range and is suitable for mainstream schools, special schools, alternative provision and specialist settings.
Schools use the Goodysphere Sensory Bus to support pupils who struggle to access busy environments, to provide regulation breaks, to improve engagement and to ensure inclusion at school events and activity days. By changing the environment, Goodysphere helps pupils remain part of the school community rather than being excluded from it.
All sessions are delivered with safeguarding, wellbeing and accessibility at the forefront, and we are happy to provide any documentation schools require to support due diligence and procurement processes.
