“The day was fantastic. The two men who came to school were excellent - I cannot praise them enough. The children loved the experience and we got some amazing writing from our children following the day. The parents were amazed at home time when Rex came out to see them too! Overall a brilliant experience I would really recommend. Thank you for everything.”

“Just wanted to say a huge thank you for a fantastic day with T-Rex and the baby dinosaurs on Tuesday 6th March. All the staff were very excited in anticipation of the day but the arrival of T-Rex was way beyond everyone’s expectations! To see the thrill on the children’s faces when he unexpectedly arrived in the hall during assembly, was magical and something they will remember for many years to come. Mike and Dave were brilliant in every respect! Their presentation was highly entertaining and appropriate for all of the children from Year R to Year 6. Their ability to ensure everyone gained something from the experience, was commendable and the children have not stopped talking about the day since. The baby dinosaurs were an added bonus for the Year R children (and the teachers too!) and reassured the children that dinosaurs can indeed be very friendly! Thank you so much! ”

“What an amazing day we had on Monday 10th September. We were visited by a T-Rex and 2 baby dinosaurs with their rangers Mike and Gil. The children were all assembled in the school MUGA (multi games area) unaware of what was to happen. When the staff and children saw the T-Rex coming towards them, their faces were a picture and it made the day all worthwhile. Both park rangers Mike and Gil were very entertaining and accommodating, ensuring that the children were given plenty of opportunities to interact with the T-Rex and the baby dinosaur puppets. The smiles on the faces of the children and staff were unforgettable. The children loved the giant egg, enjoying the experience of being able to have their photographs taken. Once again a big thank you to Mike and Gil who made the day so enjoyable and memorable. I would highly recommend letting your school experience the dinosaur day. ”

“Our dinosaur visit on March 19th was just wonderful. The team were brilliant. They were very professional and worked very well with the children, setting the scene and entertaining everyone. The children (and staff) were completely awestruck by the dinosaurs and though some were slightly nervous everyone wanted to meet them and enjoyed watching the interaction between the keeper and the dinosaurs. The children haven’t stopped talking about the day and all left very excited to share what they had seen with Mum and Dads (though we aren’t sure if they believed who visited us!) The work the children did after the visit was also brilliant. I would highly recommend the experience to everyone. ”

“Thank you so much to Hire Dinosaurs and the team for making the first day back to school this year such a memorable one. The children (and staff) absolutely loved it and the feedback we got from them and their parents was extremely positive. The team were professional and really worked well with all our children. The writing that all the children did in response to the visit was amazing and it really inspired them to show off their writing skills." Quotes from the children's writing include: 'I had never seen a dinosaur before that was as realistic and brilliant as that was.' 'It was very scary and it made me excited.' Thanks again for a fantastic morning. ”

“Thank you for an amazing experience! I wrote the press release below to capture the effect the dinosaur had on inspiring our pupils today; St Margaret's had a strange visitor on the 14th October. Not everyone can say that they have had a visit from a baby T-Rex. As part of the school's approach to a wonderful and creative curriculum, 'Rex' the dinosaur was invited into school. Pupils and teachers all had the chance to walk, race, feed and stroke Rex. This led to a wonderful amount of writing, artwork and computing work all inspired by the magnificent beast. The whole day was an absolute 'roaring' success, however Mr Harthill and Mrs Mcshane aren't too sure about inviting Rex back if he is going to get any bigger. ”
Simon Harthill , Head of Year 3, St Margaret's Primary School, Heywood, Lancashire
“We absolutely loved the visit; it more than exceeded our expectations. The children were thoroughly gripped and enthralled and have produced some good writing and other pieces of work following on from the morning. I thought both members of your team were excellent and went above and beyond to ensure a great morning was had. You can't come much closer to the real thing and what an amazing experience to be able to bring to the children...wow!”
