About: KSM Minds facilitate interactive workshops for both staff and children in schools to help them develop the skills needed to have honest and open conversations about race, racism and its impact on individuals and society.
Living in a world where terms such as discrimination, prejudice, white privilege, unconscious bias are now part of our every day language, it is imperative that we develop the skills needed to navigate these conversations. Conversations about race are uncomfortable for the vast majority of people and the most common approach is to avoid having the conversation altogether, for fear of saying something wrong. However, this no longer seems to be the acceptable approach and having these conversations is becoming more and more unavoidable.
