The Nubian Princesses delivers engaging, curriculum-linked workshops and author visits designed to support children in developing confidence, identity and a sense of belonging.

Founded by award-winning author and former BBC journalist Rene Bissohong, The Nubian Princesses combines storytelling, discussion and creative participation to create meaningful learning experiences for primary school pupils.

Our sessions support key areas of the curriculum including PSHE, literacy and diversity education, helping children to explore identity, build self-confidence and develop a positive understanding of themselves and others.

Workshops are interactive, inclusive and tailored to different age groups, making them suitable for school events such as World Book Day, Black History Month and themed learning days.

We have delivered sessions across community and educational settings, creating safe and engaging spaces for children to express themselves and connect with powerful stories.
