"We had our opening party in the nursery today, everyone loves the mural you did with the farm animals. We had children trying to stroke the sheep they thought were real… 16 happy two-year-olds and their parents. Thank you so much from everyone: kids, parents, staff and governors." David Higgs – Premises Manager, Tweeddale Primary School, Carshalton

Crawley Borough Council has been working with graffiti artist Julian Johnson to help refresh the much-loved Bewbush Graffiti Cube in Dorsten Square. Councillor Michael Jones (Leader of Crawley Borough Council) said: “This is a much-loved piece of public art here in Bewbush. I was delighted to have been invited to view it and I would like to thank all of the children and young people for their contributions. Julian has been really inspirational.”

"A while ago my Daughter cut her hair for it to be donated to The Little Princess Trust to be made for children's wigs, alongside this she also fundraised to raise money for a playhouse for the children at The Royal Marsden Hospital where I work, she raised more than she had hoped, so we have had an area that she has been able to buy a playhouse, tuff trays etc and lots of other new equipment for the children. This is where Julian came in and painted the most incredible mural on the wall to brighten up the area, it is truly AMAZING !!! And has had such wonderful comments from all the families, so it really is muchly appreciated. And we haven't finished with him yet, we have lots more walls!!" Sarah Beckman, McElwain Ward, Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton
